Color #5 – B25 is cut out of this color (instructions need to match the pattern pieces)
Sew the two background pieces together using a 1/4″ seam not 1/8″
Pattern pieces E1-9 and E2-9 on piece page 9 should read “cutout” in center of pieces.
For clarification, under Tracing right below the dashed line reference, should read:
“Within the pattern pieces the solid interior lines do not need to be traced, unless they are labeled cut out, because they are only used for visual guides in pattern placement under and overlay.”
For clarification, under Cutting Of Borders and Binding should read: Color #12: Before cutting your inner border strips open up fabric and cut 4″ off of one selvedge end for the pattern pieces (unless a separate piece has been provided). Using the remaining width of fabric cut 4 strips 1 1/2″ to make inner border.
The pattern pieces should be changed as shown:

Under Cutting – #3 Light Olive Green – Inner Border – Should read: Cut 2 – 1 1/2″ x 16 1/2″ for sides and 2 – 1 1/2″ x 20″ for top and bottom.
Under Borders, first paragraph should read: Inner Border – Place 1 1/2″ x 20″ strips to the top and bottom. Sew using 1/4″ seams. Place the remaining 1 1/2″ x 16 1/2″ green strips on each side of the appliqued center. Sew in place.

Final paragraph of Assembly section in instructions should read: “With either technique, place on the background piece and ightly fuse down except where the ears and face overlap onto the borders. Remember to allow for 1/4″ seam around the edge for the inner border.
